Barrels, Beer and all the Little People

It is still very much the summer in our minds, what about you?

Meet us on the terrace or at the bar of Wiper and True Tap Rooms on Thursday the 26th September 2024, when we will be celebrating the Indian ‘British’ Summer. Michael Wiper and the team will take us through the journey of how Bristol's home-grown brand has escalated themselves from micro-brewery to a supermarket shelf name. We will learn about their future plans and how they continue to give back to the city close to their heart. We are also promised an opportunity to taste some of the fantastic site-brewed beer, fingers crossed some of the new non-alcoholic stash will be available too.

Our event charity is the amazing Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) who provide much needed hospice care for children and young people and their family; living with life-limiting conditions. Amanda Gallagher one of the original @4'er's is back and it has been long overdue since we collaborated with her and the team.

This event is one close to our hearts, it is held in memory of Leo Kilcoyne, beloved son of our own Naomi Kilcoyne. Leo was lost earlier this year fighting the unknown, Leo, Naomi and the entire family had the support of the CHSW team. On the day we hear more about the gift of Leo's life, their journey and how they were supported by CHSW.

So in aid of one of our own we will be digging deep to repeat or beat last month's fund raising. Expect some fun activities, including a raffle, a mini auction other surprises including a Giant Teddy Bear wearing handcuffs, in addition to fantastic networking!

Unlike our usual events we will also be raising money with limited free tickets and more CHSW donation tickets. Please use this an an opportunity to show your support.

We are also asking members to reach out to us to learn how you can get involved in offering a gift or service to be auctioned/raffled.
