Book signing with Michael Palin in Gerrards Cross

In September 2014 the wreck of a sailing vessel was discovered at the bottom of the sea in the frozen wastes of the Canadian arctic. Its whereabouts had been a mystery for over a century and a half. Its name was HMS Erebus.

Now Michael Palin – former Monty Python stalwart and much-loved television globetrotter, is coming to Chorleywood and Gerrards Cross Bookshops, as he brings this extraordinary ship back to life with his new book 'Erebus'. The result is a wonderfully evocative account of one of the most extraordinary adventures of the nineteenth century, as reimagined by a master explorer and storyteller.

Book signings will be held at Chorleywood Bookshop from 10am to 11.15am and Gerrards Cross Bookshop from 11.45am to 1.15pm on Saturday 24th November.

Please note this is a ticketed event and spaces are limited. We ask that no photographs are taken. Please book for either the Chorleywood Bookshop signing or the Gerrards Cross Bookshop signing and make note of the times and location of each. If you have a Gerrards Cross ticket and attend the Chorleywood signing you will not be permitted entry and vice versa. This is so everyone attending has a chance to meet, chat with and have their books signed by Michael. Michael will ONLY sign this book, please do not bring other titles with you.
