Following on from their recent sold out event, local authors and u3a members David Hiddleston, Gillian Pugh and Robert Thackery will be visiting the bookshop to sign copies of CHORLEYWOOD AT WAR: 1939-1945.
Drawing on newly discovered materials, contemporary local newspapers and personal testimonies and archives, CHORLEYWOOD AT WAR captures the fascinating stories of how WWII changed and shaped everyday life in the village and the resilience of a community living through extraordinary times.
