Join Robert Ross – described by Barry Cryer as “Britain’s Comedy Historian” – for a special night celebrating the publication of his 30th book, How Well Do You Know … Classic British Sitcoms?

For more than thirty years Robert has written about Britain’s comedy greats, from the Carry Ons, Steptoe and Son and Last of the Summer Wine to Peter Sellers, Marty Feldman and Terry Jones.

Now it’s your turn to face the questions.

Whether it's Del Boy falling through the bar, Basil Fawlty losing his temper, Patsy reaching for another drink or Captain Mainwaring declaring Pike a “stupid boy”, put your classic comedy knowledge to the test in a fun-filled evening celebrating the programmes, performers and unforgettable moments that have kept Britain laughing for generations.

Sharpen your pencils. Assemble your comedy knowledge. And whatever happens – don’t panic!

• Each team can have up to 8 players or come along and join our pot luck table!

• Doors open at 6:45pm with a licensed bar open throughout the evening.
