The Scarecrow Trail, (our sixth!), is run by Chorleywood Magazine, supported by Estate Agents John Roberts and Sewell and Gardner.
THEME: CHILDREN’S FAVOURITES
One to delight the young and young at heart this year. Whether it’s a character from a modern story book, a classic fairy tale or Disney or Warner Bros movie, go to town on your straw filled heroes, princesses, wizards and baddies. Let’s fill Chorleywood with recognisable scarecrows everybody loves to love.
We are asking participants to donate £6.50 to register which will go towards Mission EmployAble charity, Chorleywood. who, together with Chorleywood Cricket Club are in the process of creating a training café for young adults with learning disabilities within the Cricket Club’s new pavilion on the Common
To register your scarecrow select ticket from the drop-down menu in the box on the right of the screen. Closing registration date Monday 4 October at midnight. Once you have paid, your scarecrow will be registered and the 'ticket' you print out acts as a registration receipt. You will then receive an email from Chorleywood Magazine asking for the name and location of your scarecrow.
A few days prior to the Trail weekend you will receive another email with your Scarecrow Trail number and a poster with QR code which you will need to print out and attach to or position near your scarecrow. Your scarecrow needs to be in place on the morning of Friday 15 October
Trail followers will need to register on Eventbrite for a map and make a voluntary donation. The link for this will be on our website www.chorleywoodmagazine.co.uk. Instructions will follow for online voting. All details will be released on our website and Facebook page nearer the time.
