Event description

Join Cornish Mutual at Tregooden Farm, part of the Duchy Focus Farm Network, for a practical look at how regenerative farming can reduce costs, maintain productivity and improve long-term soil health.

Known for their innovative approach, the Barretts will share how they’ve worked with the Farm Carbon Toolkit and Soil Association to test practical ways of reducing external inputs while maintaining a productive, resilient and profitable farming system.

The session will cover:

  • Building soil health as the foundation of productivity

  • Reducing fertiliser and chemical inputs without compromising yield

  • Using cover crops, green manures and diverse leys

  • Integrating livestock for soil health and profitability

  • Enhancing natural capital, biodiversity and habitat

  • Creating resilience through adaptation and experimentation

Expect open discussion alongside insights and data from years of on-farm trials. This is an opportunity to see regenerative farming in action and explore how small changes can have a big impact.
