Short description
Join Cornish Mutual, TerraFarmer & Dorset dairy farmer Will Hosford for a breakfast talk on building farm resilience to extreme weather
to

Location

Dorchester DT2 7SD, UK

Event description

From increasingly wet winters to hot, dry summers, challenging weather is putting pressure on soils, productivity and farm profitability.

Join us for breakfast at Dorset County Show as Hugo Ellis from TerraFarmer and local dairy farmer Will Hosford explore practical ways to build greater resilience on farm.

The discussion will look at the role of soil health in helping farms cope with weather extremes, balancing resilience with profitability, and what can be learned from practical trials and experience on farm. Hugo will also share insight from TerraFarmer's work, including the Biophage trials Will has been involved in, with Will bringing the farmer perspective on what this looks like in practice.

This will be an informal, practical conversation with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.

Refreshments and breakfast baps provided, Free to attend but booking is required.
