Discovering a new sanctuary for nature

Step into the beautiful Meon Valley on a guided walk through Court House Meadows, a newly protected wildlife sanctuary alongside the River Meon. Discover this rare chalk stream landscape and learn how the Trust is restoring the water meadow and reconnecting the river with its natural floodplain. Along the way, look out for signs of water voles, wading birds, dragonflies and other species that depend on this special habitat, while hearing how supporters helped secure this important haven for nature.

Please note that the site has been heavily poached due to previous land use, resulting in uneven and often wet ground. As there are no formal footpaths, this walk will take place entirely off-road. Unfortunately, the terrain makes the walk unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Wellies are essential.
