Join us on the 6th of November for our biggest event of the year – the PSA Fireworks Festival! Open to the public and set on the school grounds, this exciting evening promises a dazzling 20+minute fireworks display, live music, a DJ, face painting, glow toys, and delicious food and drinks. With up to 2,000 attendees, it’s an unforgettable event for all ages. All proceeds raised by the PSA go directly to supporting our students and our school. Food & Payments Update
There will be no pre-sale of food this year — all food will be available to purchase on the night.
The event will be card payment only, although exact cash can be accepted where possible.
Our hot food is provided by Chop & Chip, professional caterers who specialise in BBQ food with a street food heritage. They debuted with us last year, and it was a great success — the food was delicious, and the service was swift, with no queues and impressively fast delivery.
We’re delighted to welcome them back this year, serving a Beetroot & Chicory Vegan Burger, an Angus Beef Burger, and a Bratwurst Hot Dog.
And our ever-popular crêpe stall is back too — with an upgrade! We’ve invested in new crêpe machines and improved our service system to keep things running more smoothly and serve everyone more quickly and efficiently this year.
We invite all attendees to enjoy their meal with us on the evening — perfectly topped off with freshly made crêpes, cakes and drinks!
Tickets & QR Codes
Tickets will need to be either printed out or shown on a phone so the QR code can be scanned upon entry.
A 'Family Ticket' can be any 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and up to 3 children. A Child ticket is for all school and 6th form age.
Under 5s are free but must also be registered, and will require their own QR code for entry.
Access & Advice
Access is along the lane at the bottom of Queen’s Road, through the back gates to the school playing field. A map of the site layout will be sent to ticket holders before the event.
Please avoid driving to the event wherever possible. The school is surrounded by residential roads with very limited parking, and with a large number of people attending, we want to minimise traffic and disruption for our neighbours. We strongly encourage you to walk, cycle or use public transport where possible.
Sorry, dogs and personal sparklers/fireworks are not allowed on site.
It is advisable to bring a torch or headlamp, as some areas of the field will be dark.
Photography & Filming
Please be aware that photography and filming will take place during this event. Images and footage may be used by Christ’s School and the PSA to document and promote the event, including in newsletters, on websites and on social media.
Due to the size and nature of the event, we cannot guarantee that individuals will not appear in photographs or video footage, particularly in general crowd and event shots.
We ask all attendees taking their own photographs or videos to be considerate of the privacy of other children and families when sharing images publicly.
