Join this year's Pink Wig Mermaid March, parade in pink and show your support!  

Get ready to shimmer in pink and make a real difference to breast cancer care in Cornwall!  

On Friday 7 August 2026, the iconic Pink Wig Mermaid March, sponsored by Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, will once again fill Falmouth with colour, positivity, and unwavering support for everyone affected by breast cancer. All funds raised go directly to The Mermaid Centre Fund supporting Cornwall’s dedicated breast cancer unit at Royal Cornwall Hospital.

More than a parade, this is a movement of strength, solidarity, and spirited celebration.  

Fresh for 2026, the Pink Wig Mermaid March welcomes everyone to get involved. If you want to wear your wig with pride or shimmy your fins in support, you’re absolutely invited.   

Your support goes towards funding the extras that the NHS budget doesn’t stretch to; the things that lift spirits, enhance care, and make a real difference to patients, families and staff. From equipment, to training to new buildings. 

Want to put your own playful spin on the Mermaid theme? Why not dive in as a disco, retro, pirate, boho, rock'n’roll, punk, or even a masquerade mermaid, the possibilities are endless.

Pre-event reception   

Our friends at The Greenbank are once again hosting our pre-event get together.  Gather your pod, soak up the beautiful waterfront setting, and enjoy some light refreshments as you prepare for the evening ahead. Even better - the hotel will be making a generous donation from all reception sales to support the The Mermaid Centre.   

Time for The Pink Wig Mermaid March  

Join us as we set off from The Greenbank at 7pm, marching through the streets of Falmouth in unity, remembrance, and hope. Whether you're marching in memory or marching in support, your presence matters.  

Silent disco party – powered by DeluxX DJs  

The March concludes at the Falmouth Week Event Marquee, where the celebration continues! Slip on your LED headphones and step into an unforgettable silent disco experience with three DJ channels, each serving up a different vibe.
