How can the South West’s thriving tech community better support local people and organisations?

Join us to explore how Tech4Good South West and Aviva partnered on the Tech Skills for Good pilot, connecting Aviva volunteers with charities tackling real challenges across Bath, Bristol and the wider region.

Together we will:

• Showcase pilot projects from local charities First Steps Bath, Climate Barometer , Southside and Home Start Bristol and South Gloucestershire, bringing together charity teams and their Aviva volunteers.

• Share Aviva’s journey, including the opportunities and challenges of embedding skills-based volunteering.

• Open the conversation on how other tech businesses can get involved and help strengthen the South West’s social impact ecosystem.

Whether you’re a tech professional, a business leader, or part of a charity sector organisation, this is your chance to connect, share ideas, and help shape the future of tech volunteering for good in the region.

Purpose

• Celebrate and share learnings from the Tech4Good South West / Aviva Tech Skills for Good pilot.

• Highlight stories from participating charities and Aviva volunteers.

• Explore what Aviva had to do internally to enable the pilot.

• Inspire other tech businesses to get involved and replicate the model.

The hub is located on the first floor of the building. On the day, visitors will be given a pass by security, and our host, Liv Holmes from NatWest will bring you upstairs to the hub.
