Bath Digital Divide Collective Meeting

to

Event description

Join the Bath Digital Divide Collective for our bi-monthly, one-hour virtual gatherings. These meetings are an open and welcoming space for charities, community groups, tech companies, educators, funders, and local leaders across Bath & North East Somerset to connect, share insights, and collaborate on tackling digital exclusion.

Our sessions focus on our four shared priorities:

  1. Networking & Influence – strengthening connections across sectors.

  2. Storytelling – sharing lived experiences to inspire action.

  3. Micro-experiments – testing new approaches to digital inclusion.

  4. Research, Learning & Advocacy – building the evidence base of what works.

Whether you’re a practitioner, policymaker, funder, charity or community member, your voice is essential in shaping the next chapter of our work together.

📅 When: Every two months
💻 Where: Online (link provided on registration)
Duration: 1 hour

Guest Speaker

This month we will have a guest speaker, Nic Littlejohn who will be joining us to introduce the exciting new initiative the Connection Project, a national alliance with a mission to ensure everybody in the UK can thrive in a digital society.

About the Connection Project

We bring business, government and civil society together to develop a more inclusive, connected UK. Our shared roadmap combines the knowledge of the public sector, the creativity of industry and the reach of community organisations. We focus on long-term system improvements, not short-term fixes. We collect and use data, build partnerships and share insights to make sure digital systems are accessible, efficient and fair.

Our work includes finding out who is excluded and why, testing practical solutions and helping organisations design services that work for everyone. Our vision is simple: a digital UK where everyone can belong, take part and succeed; a country where technology supports people effectively and a society that recognises connection as the foundation of progress.
